Can you work from photos?
Yes, creating a portrait from photos is very straightforward. If you want to have one done, please follow these 5 steps:- Fill out the order form
- Send your photo(s)
- Wait until completion date
- Get your portrait deliver to you
- Pay for the portrait
How long does it take?
To create a portrait from photos takes me from 2 days to 6 weeks, depends on the technique, the size, the amount of people/subjects in the portrait and my workload.
What is the best time to order a portrait as a holiday gift?
Holidays such Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Valentine's Day are my high workload times of the year. Please consider to order in advance.

Do you require up-front payment?
No, I do not require up-front payments. Payment is on delivery. However, I do require a 30% non-refundable initial deposit on all orders.

Portrait making process
There are 2 main portrait techniques I use:
- Black and white pencil drawing on paper
- Full color acrylic or oil painting on stretched canvas
Black and white drawing is less time and supplies consuming than full color painting, therefore it's less expensive. Size and the amount of people/subjects in the portrait are also factors, smaller portrait with fewer subjects is also less expensive. To ease on framing process, standard portrait sizes are listed below, custom portrait sizes are also available.
